Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) suffered an unexpected setback in the Delhi Elections for Assembly.

As the vote counting continues, the BJP has gained a clear lead, leaving AAP struggling to retain its position.

Several key leaders, including Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, faced defeat.

Despite their efforts in public service, AAP leaders acknowledged that voter support had declined this time.

Reacting to the outcome, Kejriwal stated that he respects the people’s verdict and congratulated the BJP on its victory.

He expressed pride in his government’s work for the public and emphasized that these results will not deter their commitment to public service.

Kejriwal highlighted his government’s contributions over the past ten years toward Delhi’s development, particularly in education, healthcare, water supply, and electricity sectors.

He affirmed that the party would move forward while respecting the people’s decision.

The AAP leader also thanked party members and volunteers for their efforts.

He encouraged them to remain strong despite the defeat, reiterating that their primary goal remains serving the people to the best of their ability.
