Dubai: Team India has qualified for the Champions Trophy 2025 final.
In the first semifinal held on Tuesday, India defeated Australia by 4 wickets to secure its spot in the final.
Batting first, Australia was bowled out for 264 runs in 49.3 overs.
It is well known that Australia defeated Team India in the 2023 World Cup final.
However, this time, India avenged that loss with a remarkable victory.
In the run chase, Indian batters delivered a stunning performance.
India successfully chased the target in 48.1 overs, scoring 265 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.
Virat Kohli played a brilliant innings, scoring 84 runs off 98 balls, including 5 fours. Shreyas Iyer (45) and KL Rahul (42)* provided valuable support.
Hardik Pandya (28) and Rohit Sharma (28) also made significant contributions. Among Australian bowlers, Adam Zampa took 2 wickets.
In the Indian bowling attack, Mohammed Shami took 3 wickets, while Ravindra Jadeja and Varun Chakravarthy claimed 2 wickets each.

The final match is scheduled to take place on March 9 in Dubai.
The winner of the second semifinal between New Zealand and South Africa, to be played on Wednesday, will face India in the Champions Trophy 2025 final.
