International: Pakistan Denies Involvement in Pahalgam Terror Attack
Blames India’s Internal Unrest for the Incident

📍 Pakistan Responds to Pahalgam Tragedy

Following the gruesome terror attack in Pahalgam (Jammu & Kashmir) on Tuesday that claimed the lives of 27 innocent tourists, Pakistan has issued a formal response. Pakistan’s Defence Minister, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, clarified that Pakistan had no role in the attack and reiterated the country’s opposition to all forms of terrorism.

❝We Have No Connection with the Attack❞ – Khawaja Asif

Dismissing allegations of involvement, Minister Khawaja Asif stated that Pakistan does not support terrorism in any form. “We strongly reject any insinuation linking us to the Pahalgam attack. Pakistan categorically opposes terrorism in all its manifestations,” he asserted in a press briefing.

📌 Internal Indian Issues to Blame, Says Pakistan

In a controversial statement, Asif claimed the Pahalgam incident was a consequence of growing internal unrest within India. “From Nagaland to Kashmir, the central government is facing growing opposition. Ongoing unrest in Manipur is another example of domestic instability. These internal situations are more likely to have caused the attack,” he said.

📍 Civilians Should Never Be Targets

The minister condemned the targeting of civilians, asserting that terrorism should never be aimed at the general public. “The lives lost in the Pahalgam attack are tragic. We do not, and will not, support acts of terror targeting civilians. India must reflect on its internal challenges rather than constantly scapegoating Pakistan,” Asif added.

🔍 Analytical Outlook

Pakistan’s consistent denial of involvement in cross-border terrorism has long been met with skepticism on the global stage. With this latest incident, Pakistan’s attempt to deflect blame by highlighting India’s domestic strife is likely to stir further controversy. Framing a mass-casualty terror attack as a product of internal politics may raise serious questions about intent and credibility.
