Amaravati: In a major development, former Andhra Pradesh Intelligence Chief PSR Anjaneyulu has been remanded to judicial custody for 14 days in connection with the harassment case filed by Bollywood actress Kadambari Jethwani. The CID presented him before the Third Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Court on Wednesday morning following his arrest.

The harassment case filed by Kadambari Jethwani led to the arrest of PSR Anjaneyulu by the Andhra Pradesh CID. He stated that he had no involvement in the case and claimed that the charges were baseless. He reiterated that he was being falsely implicated despite having no role in the matter.

The court, however, was not convinced by the arguments. After reviewing the case details and hearing both sides, the magistrate remanded PSR to 14-day judicial custody. As a result, he will remain in custody until May 7.
